Participating organizations, all noted for civic consciousness as well as for expertise and leadership that brought them to global promi- nence, have made it possible through their generous contributions to present fellowships to bright young students who are pursuing advanced degrees in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hy- drologic sciences.
