Spengler, executive director emeritus Internet: hallgren@ametsoc.org To 1999 Fellow Nomination Sponsors: The 1999 Fellows Committee will continue with the policy instituted by the 1997 Fellows Committee last year. The policy they would like to adhere to for any fellow nominations received this year is (a) The original nomination be limited to the one page, two-sided form; and (b) They encourage the sponsor to solicit up to no more than three (3), one-page letters of endorsement. These letters should supplement the information in sponsor's original nomination of this individual. The sponsor should send a copy of the completed original nomination form to those individuals before they write the supporting letters. Please forward all correspondence to Headquarters by June 1 (nominations and supporting letters). Enclosed is a blank copy of the official nomination form.
