TENTH SYMPOSIUM ON TURBULENCE AND DIFFUSION SIXTH CONFERENCE ON MOUNTAIN METEOROLOGY THIRD CONFERENCE ON POLAR METEOROLOGY 29 September-2 October 1992 GENERAL INFORMATION The American Meteorological Society will sponsor the Tenth Symposium on Turbulence and Diffusion, the Sixth Conference on Mountain Meteorology, and the Third Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography from 29 September - 2 October 1992 at the Portland Hilton, Portland, Oregon. ACCOMMODATIONS All sessions will take place at the Portland Hilton. A block of rooms has been reserved for meeting attendees at the special price of $69/single, $90/double, plus tax. Reservations must be made prior to 21 August 1992 and must be accompanied by a one-night deposit. Reservations made after that date will be on a space available basis. We urge you to register early, since space is limited, and to request written confirmation. For reservations, please write directly to the Portland Hilton, 921 S.W.
