LOUIS, MISSOURI GENERAL The 17th AMS Conference on Severe Local Storms, organized by the AMS Committee on INFORMATION Severe Local Storms and the AMS Conference on Atmospheric Electricity organized by the AMS Committee on Atmospheric Electricity will be held 4 - 8 October 1993 at the Regal Riverfront Hotel (formerly the Clarion Hotel), St. Louis, Missouri. The local hosts for these conferences are the AMS Greater St. Louis Chapter and the AMS St. Louis University Chapter. ACCOMMODATIONS All sessions will take place at the Regal Riverfront Hotel (formerly the Clarion Hotel). A block of rooms has been reserved for meeting attendees at the special price of $67/single, $76/double, and a room license fee of $2 per day, plus tax. These special rates are extended to attendees three days prior and three days after the conference. Reservations must be made prior to 1 September 1993 and must be accompanied by a one-night deposit.
