McCarthy also presented Joe Galway with a certificate for his efforts in writing a historical book about the Kansas City chapter. Copies of the book will be available in Fred Ostby, director of the Severe Storms Forecast Center, announced the retirement of the forecaster numbers of former SELS employees Joe Galway and Larry Wilson. Galway was No. 4 and Wilson was No. 15. They were given a SELS T-shirt with their
