Hughes Information Technology Company Unisys Corporation, Government Systems Group ITT Aerospace Communications Division Space Systems/Loral Martin Marietta Astro Space GRADUATE GTE's Federal Systems Division FELLOWSHIPS wi s Global Programs The AMS/lndustry Graduate Fellowship Program, now in its fourth year, i s designed to encourage students entering their first year of graduate school to pursue an advanced degree in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The AMS wil l join with eight major high-technology firms and a federal agency to offer 11 graduate fellowships for the 1994/95 academic year. Prospective candidates from the fields of atmospheric sciences, oceanography, hydrology, chemistry, computer sciences, engineering, ennvironmental sciences, mathematics, and physics are encouraged to apply for these fellowships. A total of 11 fellowships will be awarded. The awards, to be administered by AMS, carry $15,000 stipends for a nine-month period for the 1994/95 fellowship year.
