Because encouraging outstanding young scientists is vitally important to our nation's future, the American Meteorological Society, in continuing cooperation with three in- dustry leaders and six federal agencies, announces the 2002/2003 AMS/lndustry/Gov- ernment Graduate Fellowship recipients. A fellowship has also been made possible through the generous contributions of AMS members to the AMS 21st Century Campaign.
