Hotel Information The American Meteorological Society will hold its 75th Annual Meeting during 15-20 January 1995 at the Loews Anatole o Hotel.The hotel, which dominates the skyline of Dallas, is the ^^ • ^ largest convention hotel in America's Southwest. The hotel is only ' 15-20 25 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth Airport. The hotel has 1,620 deluxe rooms and suites. It was built primarily as a meetings and convention property and has over 240,000 square feet of functional meeting and exhibit space. Loews Anatole includes five major ballrooms, eight corporate boardrooms, six lecture halls for A/V presentations, 58 flexible meeting rooms, and a 73,000 square foot exhibition hall. The hotel also boasts an 82,000 square foot health and fitness facility, 11 restaurants and lounges, 11 retail shops, and a private 7-acre park. The Verandah Health Club is located in the gardens of the hotel and has a full court gymna- sium, 7 racquetball courts, 6 outdoor ten- nis courts, 2 squash courts, 25 meter in- door lap pool, indoor and outdoor track, aerobics studio, whirlpools, sauna, steam rooms, fitness room, locker facilities, beauty salon, logo shop and a restaurant.
