Humphrey has been a very generous supporter of AMS activities. There are many ways in which a member may support AMS programs and one is by sponsoring an AMS event, as Paul has chosen to do over the last several years. He has been and continues to be a sponsor of the AMS Donor's Reception. Held at each Annual Meeting this reception is attended by members that contribute, at a club level, to the current develop- ment campaign. Paul believes that this reception is one way for AMS to express their gratitude to donors and provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss AMS programs and the best ways for the Society to utilize con- tributions.
