Spengler GENERAL The 70th Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society will feature the INFORMATION following: Conference on Operational Precipitation Estimation and Prediction; Symposium on the Role of Oceans as a Source and Sink of Trace Substances that Influence Global Change; Sixth International Conference on Interactive Information and Processing Systems for Meteorology, Oceanography and Hydrology; Symposium on the First ISLSCP Field Experiment (FIFE); Special Sessions on Climate Variations and Hydrology/Climate Variations; Symposium on Biometeorology and Global Changes- Symposium on Global Change Systems; Special Panel Session on Interdisciplinary Education in the Earth Sciences; and a Special Session on the History of Climatology. These meetings will be held Feb. 4-9, 1990, at the Disneyland Hotel, Anaheim, California. Programs for all meetings appear on the pages that follow. ACCOMMODATIONS All sessions will be held at the Disneyland Hotel. A block of rooms has been set aside for the AMS Conferences at a special rate of $72/single and $85/double, plus tax.
