The theme of 199H's Third Aft\S Symposium on Education was "Preparing for the 2 1st Century," with presentations devoted to both university and K—1Z educational issues. Included are updates on Project fiTfAOS'PHE'R.E activities and other precollege educational endeavors, as well as a panel discussion on future directions for the undergraduate degree in the atmospheric and marine sciences.
