1994/95 AMS/INDUSTRY UNDERGRADUAT E SCHOLARSHIP S The American Meteorological Society is pleased to announce the winners of the 1994/95 AMS/lndustry Undergraduate Scholarships. Eleven leading environmental science and service corporations have joine d with the AMS to offer these scholarships in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The scholarships, awarded for the junior and senior years, are j n w JHT ^TN ^ designed to encourag e outstanding undergraduates to pursue |M i Hliii: K m m k careers in the fields covered by the awards. i The scholarships are based on merit and are awarded to m ^^^^ students who have shown the potential for accomplishment in | P f v these fields. Th e award is $200 0 for a nine-month period in the junior year, and an additional $2000 for a nine-month period in the senior year based on performance in the first year.
