Abstract
The children came to the clinics from various sources. A very few were sent from the Juvenile Court on charges of petty larceny, running away, truancy, incorrigibility, etc. Some were singled out by teachers because of their failure to adjust to classroom discipline. The majority, in Los Angeles, were brought by parents who learned of the clinic through newspaper publicity or lectures to clubs and parent-teachers associations.
