This chapter introduces the scientific techniques and methods that may be used to demonstrate immortality. Among the topics covered in this chapter are: Bacon's monument to common sense; the law of correct reasoning; essentials of a correct hypothesis; inductive reasoning; natural theology; the conflict between religion and science; the doctrine of evolution; and whether immorality is a proper question for scientific investigation.
