The response to doses of 10 to 15 mgm. in 14 of 20 cases was significant in that there was increased verbalization. In of these cases, this could be classified as a âpush of speech.â One patient, G.L., a 54year-old female revealed hitherto repressed material, not obtained before when the combination of sodium amytal and methamphetamine was administered. The patient couldnot explain why she had not revealed thisadministered intravenously immediately after the Ritalin injection the Ritalin effect was tempered. These are the tentative observations: .The Ritalin preparation elicits a response which is usually less laden with affect, i.e., the abreaction is less intense. The affective coloring is not as likely to be leuphoric and is often tinged with more hostility. This may be manifested
