Delegates, meeting this year from October 20th through 23rd at the Deshler-Wallick Hotel in Coluin1)115, Ohio, will discuss the patient’s clothing, his surroundings, the ntirsing care he gets, his religious needs and his future when he leaves the hospital. There Will be an Academic Lecture on the development of research programs in mental hospitals under existing circumstances. The speaker will he Dr. Jacques S. Gottlieb. Drs. \Vinfred Overholser and A(ldison M. Duval will lead a discussion on design an(l constructli)n and equipnsent of mental hospitals, with particular reference to functional furnishings. This session will include a brief report (11)011 the conference held in \Vashington in .pri1 of this year, and the ftirther steps being considered to l)rovide upto-date and reliable information in the architectural field.
