9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.Terence A. Ketter, M.D.Ketter is the author of Handbook of Diagnosis and Treatment of Bipolar Disorders. He is chief of the Bipolar Disorders Clinic at Stanford University School of Medicine and will discuss the principles of assessment and treatment of bipolar disorder. Ketter will cover diagnosis, pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and quantitative assessment of the potential benefit of treatment (number needed to treat) and risk (number needed to harm). 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.Dilip Jeste, M.D.Jeste is the co-author of Successful Cognitive and Emotional Aging.
