Phenomenological Model for He 3 near the Critical Point

Phenomenological Model for He 3 near the Critical Point A modification of a previously discussed model for condensation in Fermi systems is applied phenomenologically to He 3 . The modified model contains an infinite sum of simple many-body interactions. Upon comparison of the model with experiment, good agreement is obtained for the exponents γ ′ , β , and δ . The exponent α ′ describes a slightly stronger singularity than is observed, and the exponents γ and α retain their classical values. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Physical Review A American Physical Society (APS)

Abstract

A modification of a previously discussed model for condensation in Fermi systems is applied phenomenologically to He 3 .
