Neutron halos in O isotopes The ground state properties of O isotopes have been studied in the nonlinear relativistic mean-field theory with NL-SH parameters. Neutron halos in O 24 , O 26 , and O 28 are predicted. The variation of the spin-orbit splitting with the neutron excess for O isotopes is also investigated with both NL-SH and NL1 parameters.
