Members and nonmembers may subscribe to the announcements at an annual (12 monthly issues) subscription rate of $15 for AM S members, $7.50 for AM S student members, and $30 for nonmembers. (Both members and nonmembers, kindly add $10 for airmailing to a foreign address.) After July 1, half- year subscriptions (for July through December issues) are available at one half of the above annual prices. Advertising rates and guidelines for organizations with openings to be filled by qualified individuals seeking positions in the atmospheric and related fields are as follows: $160/half-page (up to 250 words), $230/full-page (over 250 words), per ad, per position, per issue (price includes both print and online edi- tions). A copy of a valid purchase order or prepayment is required. Submissio n of ads via e-mail (amsempl@ametsoc.org ) or ASCI I text, WordPerfec t 6.1, or MS Wor d 6.0 file is preferred. There is a typesettin g charge of $5 0 for ads submitted in paper form. Advertising closing date is the 25th of the month prior to the date of issue; subscriptions are mailed on the 1 st of each month. Tear sheets will be sent to all advertisers.
