CORRIGENDUM

CORRIGENDUM There are several changes to the article <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:href="10.1175/1520-0493(1998)126<3213:AGPGFF>2.0.CO;2">“A General Pressure Gradient Formulation for Ocean Models. Part I: Scheme Design and Diagnostic Analysis,” which appeared in Monthly Weather Review, Vol. 126, No. 12, 3213–3230. The attached appendix is one of several contributions to the article made by Daniel G. Wright of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. During the revision process, both the appendix and the name of DGW were removed. We agree that the appendix should be restored to the paper as appendix B and Dr. Wright’s name should be added as coauthor. DGW is grateful to Dr. David Dietrich for stimulating discussions and the provision of an independent derivation of the content of appendix B. We acknowledge financial support from the Atmospheric Environment Service of Canada through the Canadian Institute of Climate Studies and from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
