Balfour in this issue, the matter beginning at the foot of the first column on page 877 and continuing through the first six and one-half lines of the second column should read: "From Jan. 1, 1924, to March 7, 1925, I performed partial gastrectomy on eighty patients, with one death." The second paragraph in the second column on page 877 should begin: "The eighty cases in the series were: gastric cancers, thirty-six; gastric ulcers, twenty-eight; recurring gastric ulcer, one; gastrojejunal ulcers, nine; duodenal ulcers, four; jejunal ulcer, one, and malfunctioning gastro-enterostomy, one.
