SOCIETY NEWS. American Surgical Association. —The thirty-ninth annual meeting of the American Surgical Association was held at New Orleans, April 19, 20 and 21. The proceedings of this session will appear in the Journal in an early issue. The Omaha Medical Society, at its recent annual meeting, elected officers as follows: Richard C. Mann, President; Elenor S. Dailey, first vice-president; E. W. Lee, second vicepresident; J. M. Aikin, secretary; W. R. Lavender, treasurer; D. C. Bryant, B. B. Davis and C. C. Allison, censors; W. O. Bridges, Louis Swoboda and H. B. Wilson, committee on program. The Society has eighty members, meets twice each month and is doing much good work, local and State.
