Abstract
In an article on the serum diagnosis of typhoid fever which appeared in our issue of October 31, page 962, we called attention to the action of one of the provincial boards of health of Canada in testing the practical utility of Dr. Wyatt Johnston's method of dealing with a little dried blood from the lobe of the ear or the tip of the finger of the patient under observation.
