Abstract A new printing of this widely used book reflects the popularity it has gained in the ten years since it first went to press. Sad to note, however, the editors did not see fit to revise the first edition, in light of the considerable progress which has been made in the last decade, through research on the various projective techniques discussed in the book. “Projective Psychology” is a comprehensive, but by no means exhaustive, source book of the major projective techniques used in the United States. Each chapter has been written by an “expert” in the use of a specific projective technique. Hence, Leopold Bellak has a chapter on the Thematic Apperception test; Molly Harrower and Ruth Munroe, on the Rorschach test; Frederic Wertham has written on the Mosaic test, and even Finger Painting is discussed in a well-illustrated chapter by Asya Kadis.
