Preretinal Membrane by Retinal Pigment Epithelium

Preretinal Membrane by Retinal Pigment Epithelium Abstract • Proliferating cells of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) formed a simple preretinal membrane growing along vitreous lamellae. The RPE cells maintained a normal orientation, polarization, and intercellular junctions, and may have entered the vitreous through photocoagulated retina. References 1.
