Directory of Medical Specialists.—Announcement is made that the "Directory of Medical Specialists" is now to be published by the A. N. Marquis Company, of Chicago, publishers of "Who's Who in America." Previous editions have been published for the Advisory Board for Medical Specialties by the Columbia University Press, New York. It is planned not to issue the next edition before 1945, on account of the war, but the A. N. Marquis Company will publish a supplemental list of all those who have been certified by the American boards since the last (1942) edition of the directory, totaling about 3,600. This is to be distributed at cost, and monthly or bimonthly bulletins listing successful candidates for certification at examinations during the interim before the next edition are to be issued as a subscribers' service.
