Dolan, professor of radiology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, was elected president of the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology at the group's recent annual meeting in Palm Beach, Fla. Other office holders are Drs Robert L. Scanlan, UCLA Medical Center, vice-president; D. H. Johnson, Jr, New Orleans, treasurer; and William N. Hanafee, UCLA Medical Center, secretary. The society board also includes Galdino Valvassori, Chicago, and Judah Zizmor and Guy Potter, both of New York. The aim of the society is to develop and promote radiologic study of disease pertaining to the eye, ear, nose, and throat. Dr Dolan, who has been a faculty member at the University of Iowa since 1964, served as program chairman of the group's meeting this year. The meeting includes a didactic program covering head and neck radiologic topics and a scientific program.
