Abstract ANNUAL MEETING OF THE AMERICAN PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION At the seventy-seventh annual meeting of the American Medico-Psychological Association, held in Boston, May 31 to June 3, a new constitution was adopted, which provided—among other slight changes—a change in the name of the organization, which will hereafter be known as the American Psychiatric Association. The American Journal of Insanity will hereafter be the official organ of the association, and will be published under a new name—The American Journal of Psychiatry. The former transactions bound in book form will be omitted, but all members and Fellows will be furnished with the journal.The Association by precedent nominates its retiring vice president for the presidency, but Dr. Sanger Brown requested that his name be withheld from the nomination, and the following officers were elected: Dr. Albert M. Barrett, Ann Arbor, Mich., president; Dr. H. W.
