Abstract Association of Military Surgeons of the United States. —The annual meeting of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States will be held Oct. 29 to Nov. 1, 1941, at the Brown Hotel, Louisville, Ky. All members of the medical profession are invited to attend as guests, particularly members of the medical defense committees.War medicine and surgery have changed considerably since the previous emergency. Mechanization of armies and air bombardments have created new and difficult problems in traumatic surgery and methods of treatments of wounds and extreme abrasions. The session will conclude with a mass review of military medicine and an inspection of Fort Knox. The preliminary program of professional sessions of the meeting follows: Col. Harold D.
