Melvin Tockman, MD, PhD, University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, has become leader of the Molecular Screening and Population Studies Program, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa. Lee Goldman, MD, MPH, University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine (UCSF), is the new editor-in-chief, The American Journal of Medicine (the Green Journal). He replaces J. Claude Bennett, MD, University of Alabama, Birmingham, who was editor for 11 years. Warren S. Browner, MD, also at UCSF, is the new executive editor. Sarkis Chobanian, MD, St Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn, has been elected president, American College of Gastroenterology.
