Hoag, for two years medical director of the Berkeley schools, has resigned, to take effect at the end of the school year.—Dr. Charles Hamilton English, San Francisco, who was stricken with cerebral hemorrhage, May 8, is reported to be improving. ILLINOIS Personal. —Dr. Henry T. Godfrey, Galena, has announced his approaching retirement from practice.—Dr. George H. Hunt, Paris, was painfully injured in an automobile accident in Chicago, May 18.
