Medical News. ILLINOIS. Fire Loss. —The office of Dr. Charles W. Lillie, East St. Louis, editor of the St. Louis Clinique, was burned February 3. The loss was $2,000; insurance, $800. Dr. Norbury Ill. —Dr. Frank P. Norbury, Jacksonville, editor Medical Fortnightly, was operated on February 23 for appendicitis, and isprogressing satisfactorily toward convalescence. Itinerant Vendor Fined. —"Dr." J. H. Bixler, an itinerant vendor, was fined $300 and costs in Kankakee last week, for practicing without a license. The suit was brought by the State Board of Health. Dunning Consultants. —The following appointments to the consulting staff of the Cook County Institutions, Dunning, have been made by President Brundage: Drs. Frank Billings, William A. Evans, John B. Murphy, Hugh T. Patrick, Arnold C. Klebs, B. McPherson, Linnell, J. Rawson Pennington, Charles S. Williamson, Alice Hamilton and Edward J. Farnum.
