Malignant Change in Smallpox Vaccination Scars Abstract Seven cases of patients who had malignant change in smallpox vaccination scars have been previously published. This report is the eighth such case. The patient developed a pigmented basal-cell epithelioma in a vaccination scar 20 years after vaccination.
