L'Electrorétinographie: Vol II. Bases Physiologiques et Données Clinique.

L'Electrorétinographie: Vol II. Bases Physiologiques et Données Clinique. This article is only available in the PDF format. Download the PDF to view the article, as well as its associated figures and tables. Abstract This two volume monograph provides a comprehensive survey of the world literature on electroretinography. A discussion of electrooculography and the visually evoked cortical responses is also included. The first volume contains historical background material as well as glossaries of photometric terms and ERG wave forms. It presents an analysis of selected ERGs from invertebrate and vertebrate species followed by a discussion of the human response and its alterations under various test conditions. Techniques useful in establishing or standardizing an electrophysiology laboratory are also reviewed. Volume two deals entirely with clinical electroretinography and other physiological tests useful in diagnosis of disorders of the retina and optic pathways. Congenital retinal dysfunctions and the heredodegenerations are emphasized. Shorter individual chapters are devoted to the ERG in circulatory disturbances, senile macular disease, chorioretinitis, trauma, intoxications, errors of refraction, retinal detachment, intraocular tumors, glaucoma, and opacities of the ocular media.
