Foreign-Body Perforation of the Intestinal Tract: Report of 12 Cases and Review of the Literature Abstract Twelve patients with foreign-body perforation of the intestinal tract have been reviewed. Nine of ten patients in whom information was available wore dentures. The relationship of denture use to foreign-body ingestion is significant and should arouse suspicion of the diagnosis in patients with obscure abdominal symptoms. References 1.
