Abstract Experimental bacterial endophthalmitis in the rabbit was easily produced. Reisolation of bacteria by anterior chamber paracentesis correlated with clinical infection in the rabbit. Therefore, we recommend diagnostic anterior chamber paracentesis in human cases of suspect bacterial endophthalmitis. References 1.
