Erythroid Aplasia in Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

Erythroid Aplasia in Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Abstract • A 9-year old girl had clinical manifestations of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis that were further complicated by severe anemia. Subsequent studies showed the anemia to be due to erythroid aplasia. Hematologic remission was induced with prednisone, 60 mg/day. (Am J Dis Child 132:760-762, 1978) References 1.
