Die Urogenitalerkrankungen der Kinder.

Die Urogenitalerkrankungen der Kinder. This separate volume from the Pfaundler and Schlossmann System of Pediatrics takes up the so-called "medical" diseases of the urogenital tract in a satisfactory manner. This is particularly true of orthostatic albuminuria, diabetes insipidus and the various types of nephritis. One also finds a masterly presentation of the physiology of the kidney, as well as of the chemistry of the urine. The sections on renal tuberculosis, anomalies of the urogenital tract, nondescent of the testis, renal calculi and others of similar nature are not as complete as could be desired. This is no doubt due to the fact that the authors are pediatricians and not urologists. Hence, a closer cooperation of the two specialties is to be recommended for future editions. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png JAMA American Medical Association
