Abstract To the Editor. —The use of colored caps—red for mydriatic drugs and green for miotic drugs—has been an industry standard and has simplified patient direction and understanding. It would be helpful if each category of medication, eg, β-blockers, steroids, antibiotics, and tear replacements, were assigned a specific colored cap.
