It has been an inspiring privilege to have personal contacts with thousands of you throughout the country. I would like to outline briefly my concept of the typical or ideal physician in our great nation. I am the first to realize and admit that as an individual I certainly do not qualify as "ideal." However, I believe sincerely that the attributes of excellence of the typical American physician include the following: ...
