ANGIOFIBROMA OR NEURILEMOMA

ANGIOFIBROMA OR NEURILEMOMA This article is only available in the PDF format. Download the PDF to view the article, as well as its associated figures and tables. Abstract To the Editor: In the December 1965 issue of the Archives, Osborn and Sokolovski, in a very interesting paper, described a juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma occurring in a girl. Could this lesion possibly be a neurilemoma? These tumors are found in the nose and nasopharynx occasionally, may be quite vascular, and may be mistaken for angiofibromas. I recall one such tumor in a 10-year-old boy. The biopsy diagnosis was angiofibroma, but after excision it was shown to be a neurilemoma. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Archives of Otolaryngology American Medical Association
