A Treatise on Applied Anatomy.

A Treatise on Applied Anatomy. The author's "object has been to provide an account of the regional anatomy of the human body in its more important applications to medicine and surgery." This has been so well done that nearly every point in anatomy has been intimately connected with some practical point in medicine or surgery so that the reading of the work has been made not only instructive but a pleasure. The work contains almost as much surgery as anatomy, and the illustrations, many of which are colored, are all very good. It is a good work and one which can be consulted with profit not only by the student but by the operating surgeon. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png JAMA American Medical Association
