A Brief Text of Physiology. For Dental, Pre-Medical, and College Students.

A Brief Text of Physiology. For Dental, Pre-Medical, and College Students. This manual was originally intended for the use of dental students at the University of Michigan. It is an effort to cover the essentials of human physiology within the limits of the physiologic course given in dental schools. Only subjects of the greatest general interest have been included and discussions on debatable questions have been largely supplanted by statements of that side which to the author seemed to have the preponderance of evidence. It is rather more elaborate than a quiz-compend and is really a digest of present physiologic knowledge. A supplement contains directions for a number of experiments of use in demonstratin physiologic principles, space being left between the directions for each experiment, for the student to use in writing up laboratory notes. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png JAMA American Medical Association
