Granular Cell Tumor of the Palate: A Case Report Summary: Granular cell tumor (GCT) is an infrequent benign neoplasm, which Abrikosoff accurately described in 1926. GCT probably has a neural crest cell origin. We present the clinical and imaging findings in a 45-year-old woman with a GCT involving the palate. CT and MR imaging revealed perineural tumor spread along the greater and lesser palatine nerves.
