TY - JOUR AU - Frost, Stan AB - Sewage, particularly the domestic variety, is the major polluter ofthe aquatic ecosystem in developing Asian countries. Besideseutrophication, it causes a number of waterborne diseases. The growingurbanization in relation to deteriorating water quality existingpractices of sewage management through treatment reuse and recyclingas well as the legal support to curb pollution are discussed in regardto China, India, Korean Republic and Jordan. Some meaningful suggestionsare made for improved sewage management and pollution control.
