TY - JOUR AU - Mullinax, Franklin AB - Abstract A patient with lichen myxedematosus of 13 years' duration has experienced stabilization or regression of the disease. The long duration of clinical well-being suggests that this patient is not suffering from a variant of multiple myeloma. Serum protein studies reveal an abnormal serum protein in the γ-globulin region. Immunoglobulin IgA levels in serum are abnormally high. Circulating antibody responses after immunization with Vi and brucellin antigens and delayed hypersensitivity responses in this patient are apparently normal. References 1.
