She does, however, hold out hope that Jerez's traditions may be preserved if proper attention is paid to the intrinsic virtues of flamenco and bodega culture. readers in need of resources or references for additional research will not be disappointed by giguère's book. The volume presents a vast amount of relevant data; all in all, it is a useful addition to the study of material and immaterial culture.
