Abstract Dermatology Foundation Invites Aications for 1992 Research Adwards.— Ap-Applications are now available for 1992 for research funding sponsored by the Dermatology Foundation. The categories are as follows: Career Development Awards in Skin Research.—This was established in 1989 and designed to assist in the transition from fellowship to established investigator. Junior investigators in the early stages of their academic careers who are faculty members in a department or division of dermatology and have completed initial training (a 2- or 3-year research fellowship or equivalent experience) in biomedical research are encouraged to apply. The stipend is $40000 per year. It may be renewed for 2 additional years (pending availability of funds) with a yearly noncompetitive interim report required. Fellowships.—These are available to postdoctoral fellows to support research training in dermatology and cutaneous biology. One fellowship is also available in the area of photobiology of the skin. The stipend is $25000
