AB - RECORDS OF PROCEEDINGS AT MEETINGS SESSION NOVEMBER, 1964-^JUNE, 1965 ORDINARY MEETING Thursday, 20 May, 1965 Professor A. G. WALKER, President, in the Chair There were present 23 members and visitors. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The Secretary announced that the Department of Mathematics, Bedford College, London, had been elected a Corporate Member of the Society. Messrs. M. V. D. Burmester, J. Cl. Matthys and Ywe-Kwong Wong were elected members of the Society. Mr. K. E. Hirst was elected an associate member of the Society. Messrs. W. H. Abdi, K. G. Binmore, M. M. Dodson, H. S. Guest, t). Kuran, E. I. Marshall and M. T. McGregor were nominated for election as members of the Society. Mr. P. D. T. A. Elliott was nominated for election as an associate member of the Society. The President announced that Council had decided to institute a lecture- ship, to be associated with the name of G. H. Hardy, and that details would shortly be circulated to members of the Society.
